Welcome! This quick start guide teaches you the most important aspects of SnipNotes.

A lot of further information on various features of the app is available in the SnipNotes Knowledge Base, which you can access anytime from within the "Help" section of the settings menu.

Overview

Create New Notes

Tap on the pencil icon to create a new text note. The menu next to it (list icon) lets you add images, dictate notes and much more.

On the iPhone, these buttons are located at the bottom of your screen.

On the iPad, you will find them in the upper right corner.

Open and Edit Notes

The main view shows you a list of your notes. Tap on a note to open it.

Tap inside the text of a note to edit it. Your modifications are saved automatically.

Use the formatting bar above the keyboard to turn your text bold, colored or large.

Organize Your Notes

SnipNotes lets you create custom categories for your notes. By default, new notes will be saved in the inbox. Tap on the "Categories" button in the upper left corner or swipe from the left edge of your screen to open the list of categories.
