SnipNotes will never transmit any personal information outside of your device without prior knowledge. SnipNotes does not track your usage nor analyze your notes. Your data stays private.<\/p>\n<p>This policy applies to all information collected or submitted on SnipNotes for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch.<\/p>\n<h2>Information we collect<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Error and status logs: <\/strong>When you send a support request from within SnipNotes, a series of text files may be attached automatically to the email. These files contain information on the current state of SnipNotes, such as the iCloud synchronization status, and any encountered errors. This data also contains your device model, your software version and your network status at the time of the error.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Crash reports:\u00a0<\/strong>In case of a crash, SnipNotes will ask you to submit a crash report. This report contains information about your device (model, software version, etc.) and the state of SnipNotes at the time of the crash. No personal data will be transmitted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Payment Data: <\/strong>SnipNotes uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases. We do not provide any information to them other than the minimum required to process your purchase. For more details, please see RevenueCat&#8217;s privacy policy. (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.revenuecat.com\/privacy\">https:\/\/www.revenuecat.com\/privacy<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quick Start Guide and Knowledge Base:\u00a0<\/strong>SnipNotes uses\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.notion.so\">Notion <\/a>to provide help resources such as the Quick Start Guide and the Knowledge Base. When you access these pages, your device connects to Notion&#8217;s servers. Notion collects its own analytics data, such as the number and origin of page views. Notion does <strong>not<\/strong> get access to your data stored in SnipNotes. For more details, please see Notion&#8217;s privacy policy.\u00a0(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.notion.so\/help\/security-and-privacy\">https:\/\/www.notion.so\/help\/security-and-privacy<\/a>)<\/p>\n<h2>Information usage<\/h2>\n<p>We use crash reports and error logs to resolve issues within the app and to assist with customer support. We do not collect nor share any personally identifiable information.<\/p>\n<h2>Synchronization with iCloud<\/h2>\n<p>When you synchronize your\u00a0notes over iCloud, all your data is stored in a private container within your iCloud account. We do not have access to this data. Apple encrypts\u00a0all data transmitted and stored on iCloud. Please refer to the following document for more information on how your data is stored on Apple&#8217;s iCloud servers:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-us\/HT202303\">https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-us\/HT202303<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Accessing, changing or deleting your information<\/h2>\n<p>You may access and change your information from within the iOS and macOS apps. SnipNotes can create a ZIP archive with all your notes. You can also wipe all your data stored in iCloud if you don&#8217;t want to use the app any longer. These options are available at the following locations:<\/p>\n<p><strong>iOS:\u00a0<\/strong>Open the settings menu in SnipNotes and go to &#8220;About&#8221; =&gt; &#8220;Privacy&#8221;<br \/>\n<strong>macOS:<\/strong>\u00a0In the menu bar, click on &#8220;SnipNotes&#8221; =&gt; &#8220;Settings&#8230;&#8221;.
