SnipNotes saves your notes locally inside a database. On macOS, you can view this file with the free tool\u00a0Realm Studio<\/a>\u00a0and create a backup. For more information please refer to\u00a0Backup and Restore Your Data<\/a>.<\/p>\n

iCloud is used to synchronize your notes between devices. SnipNotes uses a database technology inside iCloud named\u00a0CloudKit<\/a>.
